March 20, 2009 Carrie On: American Idol viewers got a quadruple dose of Carrie Underwood duringlast night's elimination round of "Grand Ole Opry" week. Contestant Matt Giraud performed "So Small" and Danny Gokey did a rendition of "Jesus, Take the Wheel," with both moving on in the competition. Underwood performed "I Told You So" with Randy Travis (watch here). And her cover of Mötley Crüe's "Home Sweet Home" played as the judges decided not to use their veto to save Alexis Grace from elimination. Billing Department: More stars are set for the 2009 CMA Music Festival. Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley and John Rich join the lineup of previously announced performers Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins and Martina McBride. Friends In O Places: Pearl's Garth Brooks will perform on tonight's (3/19) historic episode of The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, on which President Barack Obama is also scheduled to appear. Brooks will play a selection from his Ultimate Hits collection.
